Anchit Gupta is an accomplished professional in the energy industry, specializing in commercial operations, business development, and sales. With a strong focus on IT adoption and process improvements, Anchit brings valuable experience and expertise.
As the Chief Commercial Officer at MYSUN from July 2021 to March 2023, Anchit successfully led commercial operations, drove business development, and excelled in B2C sales. He championed IT adoption and implemented process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Prior to this, Anchit served as the Managing Director General at Focal Energy, where he demonstrated exceptional skills in deal sourcing, negotiations, and investment management. He played a pivotal role in corporate governance, M&A, transaction management, and B2G and B2B sales strategies for solar power projects. Anchit also spearheaded commercial operations, local fundraising, lender relations, and navigated regulatory matters.
With a decade-long tenure as Director of Business Development, Anchit showcased his expertise in deal sourcing, negotiations, financial analysis, and project development in India’s renewable energy sector. He also made notable contributions as a General Manager of Business Development at Anchit Consulting Group, specializing in “India Entry Services” and “Strategic Tie-ups.”
Anchit was also rated as a star performer in his early career as a Software Developer at Perot Systems India.
Anchit holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication from NSIT – DIT, Delhi.
